One of the nicest homebuilt cars we've seen in some time is Fred and Denel Pickering's '48 Plymouth coupe. The subtle exterior mods belie the street rod's true identity, which the blown 383 Chevy, mini-tubs, and full roll cage artfully identify. The couple cruised in from nearby Phoenix and received a Top 100 pick for their efforts.
