Straight out of the pages of your favorite little book, Mike Szuba's Pasadena, Maryland-based '32 Ford coupe brought loads of nostalgic charm to the table. Rescued in '08 after a thirty-seven year sleep, Mike enlisted the help of Junior Kelly at Bad Donkey Hot Rods to strip the original car down and breathe life back into it. Perched atop a TCI chassis, it has a 4" dropped and drilled Super Bell axle matched up with Buick 90-fin aluminum drums and Lincoln brakes. With the majority of the work completed in a mere twenty-three days, the un-chopped coupe has a Chevy 283ci V-8 for scoot linked to a Powerglide trans planting the power through a Ford 9" rearend. Neat touches like the House of Kolor Strato Blue body classically matched with white accents add flavor to the package along with tasty add-on's like '46 Kaiser Frazer taillights. Inside the coupe gets its good looks from a combination of white and blue metalflake vinyl by Mike Sholley while vintage Stewart Warner marine gauges and a '31 Caddy insert to bring it all home along with a Top 100 pick.
