Being that this is a cruising event, we first spied Carl Gordon's wicked '34 Ford hauler from Parkville, Maryland, in a parking lot on the strip. His pick-up was downright killer coated in a combination of deep black and vivid red vibe rolling on vintage wires shod with wide whites. Planted on a chassis that was kicked hard out back, its front half was drilled and sleeved before the cab and bed were laid on. With a heavy 6" channel and 5 1/2" chop, the truck has a definitive East Coast look and has plenty of neat touches by Bayliss Restorations including split and drilled rear 'bones, sculpted lower front cab corners, and a dropped and drilled front axle. For power, a built Flathead featuring Cyclone finned aluminum heads and a Thickstun PM-7 intake topped with a pair of Stromberg 97's gets the point across landing it a Top 100 designation.
