Some traditional customs look like they rolled out of a time-warp if you get the formula just right. Steve Kopchinski's Glen Burnie, Maryland-based '50 Ford coupe got its good looks over 30-years ago thanks to the creative talents of Tom Cutino of California who masterfully sculpted the shoebox to perfection. Classic custom touches abound on the coupe starting with its superbly chopped roof, shaved body, peaked '54 Ford headlights, '53 DeSoto grille, and custom Ford side trim. Rolling on obligatory wide whites topped with '56 Olds hubcaps, it has a perfect non-air assisted stance further complimented by immaculate white pearl gloss and deep maroon scallops. The 350ci Chevy mill was treated to loads of period correct goods including finned aluminum accessories and a Caddy air cleaner while an automatic trans handles the shifts. We give Stephen extra props as his hood was severely damaged during the weekend and instead of packing it in and heading home; he unbolted it and continued to cruise. This makes him a true Top 100 contender in our eyes!
